Rick Froehlich Joins McWane Technology

We are pleased to announce that Rick Froehlich has joined McWane taking on the newly created role of Vice President (Operating Partner - McWane Technology) reporting to Key Foster. In this role, Rick will be responsible for working with our technology companies to help optimize performance and growth, with an emphasis on "go to market" initiatives. Rick will also work with Key in the analysis, due diligence and on boarding of any future acquisitions McWane may make in the technology space.
Rick is a senior executive with over 24 years of experience, the last 13 years leading businesses in high technology companies. Rick was mostly recently Senior Vice President at EMC, where he led the formation and ramp of EMC's OEM Business Unit. He created EMC’s vertical market focus and built a cross functional team that increased revenue from $100M to $150M. Rick was also VP/GM of Dell’s OEM business where he led revenue growth from $200M to $1.6B over 5 years, during which time all functional areas reported to him. He also led the Telco/Networking hardware business unit at Oracle, spent 6 years as a Principal at A.T. Kearney management consulting, and started his post MBA career at Procter & Gamble in the Finance Development Program.
Rick earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is married with two daughters ages 14 and 12. He enjoys competitive running, rooting on very bad Cleveland sports teams and exotic global travel.
