Introducing McWane Scholarship Recipient Amanda Jeren

Kimberly McNany’s daughter Amanda Jeren was chosen to receive one of the 2014 McWane Scholarships. Kimberly is the HR Manager at Clow Water Systems located in Coshocton, Ohio. Kim’s daughter Amanda is currently a sophomore at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is a double major in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a minor in Nutrition.
Amanda’s goal is to work in Corporate Wellness. She currently serves as Phi Epsilon Kappa President (the student Health and Wellness fraternity at Miami University) and is a member of the Student Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Club. She volunteers at Feed my Starving Children and Nutrition Workshops and also volunteered for the Kroger Food Drive for Oxford Community Pantry. Amanda is currently the Parents Weekend Chairperson for Zeta Tau Alpha and was just hired by Miami University’s Health Services Department as a Peer Hawk Programmer to initiate and plan campus-wide health programs for students and faculty members.
The future certainly looks bright for Amanda and we are proud to be able to award this scholarship to help her achieve her goals!
